Product Classification
KnoxDrops trailers are cargo/utility trailers. They are not recreational vehicles, camper trailers, or travel trailers under federal or state classification standards. All trailers are sold and titled as cargo/utility trailers.
Interior Configuration
Each trailer is built around an insulated interior cargo bay with entry and access on both sides of the trailer. The rear hatch opens to provide access to enclosed gear storage.
No trailer leaves our shop with factory-installed sleeping surfaces, fixed cooking appliances, or plumbing of any kind.
Aftermarket Accessories
The following items are not factory-included in any KnoxDrops trailer. They are aftermarket accessories sourced and installed entirely by the buyer after purchase:
- Sinks and water systems of any kind
- Propane stoves, burners, or cooking appliances
- Refrigeration units (including 12V compressor coolers)
- Air conditioning units
- Cabin heaters (including Propex and similar propane-fueled units)
- Mattresses, sleeping pads, or any sleeping surface
CNC Kit Cut-Out Options
Buyers purchasing a CNC kit build may optionally add pre-cut dimensional openings for sink rough-ins, cabin heater vents, and AC unit mounting. These are dimensional openings only — all appliances, plumbing connections, gas fittings, and electrical connections are sourced, installed, and inspected solely by the buyer. KnoxDrops does not supply or install any appliance through this option.
Propane Systems
Optional propane mounting brackets are available for tongue-mounted external propane tank storage. Propane is not plumbed into the trailer from the factory. No gas lines are run or connected by KnoxDrops. All gas connections are made solely by the buyer.
What Is Not Included
No KnoxDrops trailer includes, in any configuration:
- Built-in or plumbed water systems
- Fixed gas lines or factory-connected propane
- Certified living quarters
- Sleeping surfaces or bed platforms
- Installed cooking appliances of any kind
- Any feature that would qualify the trailer as a recreational vehicle under applicable law
